My Favorite Movies

I own a lot of movies. Well, about 23 VHS tapes, and zero of those DVDs. I've heard DVD provides a supeior quality than ever before, a clean 480p image! But, the players on the other hand, are way too crazy. Some could go over $1000, for a single player. That sounds like buying one of those widescreen TVs, and don't even get me started on those.
Since prices for DVDs are too much, I mainly rent movies from a video store. Now, I live in place where there is no Blockbuster around, instead we got Jumbo Video, which is the same thing, with a different look. I sure does suck when someone didn't rewind the tape, because who doesn't like that? I swear, some of the tapes I get always aren't winded to the start. And it's not that hard to do, it says on tape to rewind it to the beginning, but I guess people are that stupid.
Some of my favorite movies are well known, but some are not so. For example, one of the weirder ones I hearded was Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead Part 2, a redubbing of the classic Night of the Living Dead with a more comedic tone to it. From everyone I've talked to on the net, it's seems some people heard of it but not seen it. Heck, I don't even know the creater of the movie, nor even part 1! One of some more well-known films, is the Blair Witch Project. I loved the found footage that the movie shows, and how it builds more fear and tension. I've heard the film had a budget of a $30,000 or something, and made over $200 million in the box office alone! At this point, I just feeling breaking into a movie theater just to steal the roll of tape it's on!
Speaking on that, my friend Gerald has some of the best films you can think of. From the most well-known classics, to some underated ones, he has it all. Well, maybe not 'has it all', that just doesn't seem possible. He gets them from some dealers on the net, or he might buys them once in a blue moon. Sometimes, he might bring in his big old bulky VHS camera to the theater, and just record the movies there! But, he doesn't do it for free, I got pay a price for any of the tapes I want from him, often it's $55. And he's making some pretty big bank off of this buisness, if I do say so myself!

It's quite fun inviting you friends over for a great party, because that's what happened yesterday. I got some of my friends, got some pizza, popcorn, chip, and of course, the onion dip. we watched a lot of movies, and played a load of video games. Even my rich friend, Issac, brought over his DVD player! Remember when I told you about the price of a DVD player? Turns out, he has two of them in his home! He is a bit spoiled from his parents. His parents made a grand investment in the internet, and got rich instantly! They also have a Beanie Babies buisness going on, so I don't think they are going to run out of money soon.
Of course, we were all jealous of him because of that. I mean, you have to admit from that success story, he clealy would have turned in a giant jerk 'cause of that. And you are right if you just thought about that, because he loves to boust. Like, a lot. With just about anything, from his spoons and forks, all the way to his bedroom. It's fitted with a big widescreen T.V., VHS and DVD player, loads of movies, a dump-truck of video games, every video game consle known to man, and overkill computer (maybe bought from NASA), a bed that can fit 5 people, all of latest hits albums on CD, a closet that is just a GAP store and a Foot Locker mashed together, all of that in pretty nice mansion sitted next to the sea. You maybe wondering to yourself 'Why are you friends with that manufactured muncher?', it's very simple. If we don't have enough money for something, he can pitch in or just buy it out right.

So recently I've watched The Matrix, and oh my god, what an amazing movie that was. The special effects were mind blowing, the soundtrack was great, the cast did a grand job, and some more parise that I can't think of. I even brought my friends along with me, and we all had a blast! Even Gerald sneaked in his VHS camara to record the whole movie, and I never seen him do it. And I'm suprised he got through so easily, considering he was carrying a giant duffel bag that was shaking around and about.
